Golfing and caddie background:
Had a summer job during University days at The Grove (London), messing about on golf carts and valet parking cars. I drove Gary Player out to his Pro-Am group one morning, asking him question after question during the 3 minute drive…10 days later I’m caddying for him at the 2009 Senior British Open at Sunningdale.
What do you love about caddying?
Having a front row seat and an amazing opportunity to assist/influence some of the most talented female athletes.
Interesting caddie story:
First day working for Gary Player, we played a practice round with Tom Watson, less than 24 hours after he nearly won The Open Championship at nearly 60 years old. He’d driven down from Turnberry to London alone, overnight. What a true gentleman; so humble and gracious.
